Thing 16 week 7
Wiki's are readily accessible for change by any user. This makes updating the information much more simple bescause there are many users. Researching materials are now even more convenient and usage of internal links are also helpful. With the key word links, I can research on the material even further.
Thing 15
Eventually you will se a digital library where books will be available online through web sites rather than through a library with paper books.
Thing 15
Eventually you will see a digital library where books will be available online through web sites rather than through a library with paper books. Library 2.0 is more patron centered, meaning there is less need for staff positions.
Thing 13
This is a real convenience. Looking up keywords by the use of tags is really helpful. Del.icio.us makes this much easier. Being able to search for keywords I am able to create my own tags makes it convenient for me to go back to any previous pages and possibily other websites that have the same tag as the one I have.
thing #11
Craigslist.com is a good tool for an individual looking for cars, and other items for sale. Pretty much, anyone can sell anything here. Recently i had been searching cars on craigslist.com and found some potential sales. I also have many cars and or old car parts which maybe in the future I can sell on craigslist.com. Making announcements on craigslist.com will also be helpful promoting a garage sale.
Thing 9: RSS Feeds
It's a good tool to let you know different things happening, like different news. But I didn't sign up for one because I won't use it. It won't be helpful because other than my use of a computer at work, I don't use much of my computer at home. Signing up for an RSS feed I will most likely not use it and it will be a waste of my time and will confuse me more. I would prefer to see the photo's and videos offered on the website instead of just text.
thing 7: Technology
With technology these days, library patrons can search the online catalog and order their books straight from home. That's neat thing. One of these days, I wouldn't be suprised if there are bookless libraries.
